MR. OLAWORE ELECTED AS 15TH PRESIDENT OF NBCC

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, the foremost bilateral Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, held its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 27th July 2017 at the Lilygate Hotel, Olubumi Owa Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, at 11:00am.

The Report of the Council, Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December, 2016 and the Reports of the Auditors were presented to the members as part of the Ordinary Business of the day.

Further, the members elected Mr. Akinola Olawore, FNIVS, FRICS as President, to steer the ship of the foremost bilateral Chamber and take charge of its affairs for the next two years. This followed the expiration of Prince Adedapo Adelegan’s tenure of office, after he meritoriously served the Chamber in the same capacity for two years.

Also elected into the National Executive Committee are:

Mr. Kayode Falowo (Deputy President)

Mr. Alan Davies (Deputy President)

Mr. Uwamai Igein (Vice President)

Dr. Ikenna Nwosu (Vice President)

Mrs. Adebisi Adeyemi (Vice President)

Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo (Vice President)

Prince Bimbo Olashore (Treasurer)

In addition, new Council members were also elected at the Annual General Meeting.
